Karen Kingsbury's DIVINE ....ahhh...okay

Here's the review on my latest book DIVINE by Karen Kingsbury

SO...I picked up a copy of DIVINE by Karen Kingsbury. (Clearly, I am still on my DaVinci Code/Mary Magdelene book kick). Karen Kingsbury tells the tale of "Mary Madison" a modern-day Mary Magdalene. Mary is a woman who overcomes a TERRIBLE (and I do mean terrible) childhood, teenage, and early adulthood. Mary uses the power of her story to help others find the way to a better life.

The nature of the content is not for younger readers, but yet the story reads like a "after school special." I liked it enough and thought that Kingsbury did a nice job. I can appreciate the content, but I think I might have been the wrong audience for it. I checked Amazon and Crossings.com. The reviews are all very positive.

I give 3 of 5 stars due to its simplicity. But its a nice book. You can read an excerpt of this at www.christianbook.com/

You can also get DIVINE by Karen Kingsbury on Zooba.com for $9.95 no Shipping and Handling.
