I read so many books...Let's start with THE RUINS by Scott Smith

Okay...my first blog. I read so many books, I need a place to share. I'd love to hear what you have to say as well.

I guess I will start with my first read:

THE RUINS by SCOTT SMITH. I finished in two days. I have seen reviews on Amazon, and it got a lot of negative feedback. But I thought it was a good read. Perfect for the beach....

Here's the basic story, Two couples go to Cancun, meet a German guy who's brother has disappeared with his new girlfriend to go on an archeologist's dig. The five, plus a Greek tourist, nicknamed Pablo, take the half day journey by car and 11 mile hike to the location that the German had mapped out before he left...The six find themselves in a situation they could have never imagined...and hoping for a rescue before it is too late.
